1. Scope & Acceptance
These terms apply to legal relationships related to product features, trial periods, membership subscriptions, support communication, and site content when you use Lockeep on iPhone. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using this app, you indicate that you have read and agree to comply with these terms and the Privacy Policy related to this service. If you do not agree to these terms, please stop using this app and related services.
2. Operator & Contact
Lockeep is developed and operated by Cai Gege. If you have questions about these terms, subscriptions, restore purchases, trial periods, feature boundaries, or support handling, please contact us through Support. The support page displays current valid contact email, response time, and related explanations.
3. Service Content & Product Boundaries
Lockeep is a diary app with local recording and on-device processing by default. The current version provides local diary recording, photo attachments, search, reminders, App Lock, voice transcription, AI processing, Reunion review, and membership capability management.
Specific feature availability varies by device model, iOS version, permission status, local model status, storage space, notification configuration, and membership status. Some intelligent enhancement capabilities may depend on local model files, system capabilities, or additional resource preparation—if the relevant environment does not meet requirements, these features may be temporarily unavailable, delayed, or adjusted in future versions.
4. Usage License & Requirements
Provided you comply with these terms and Apple's applicable rules, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable personal use license, solely for your use on Apple devices you lawfully control.
- You should ensure you have lawful use rights and processing rights for content you write, import, transcribe, organize, or share.
- You may not use this service for illegal, infringing, harassing, fraudulent, subscription bypassing, system stability disrupting, or product reverse-engineering activities.
- You should properly keep your device, unlock credentials, and Apple account information to avoid unauthorized access.
- Except as expressly permitted by applicable law, you may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, or otherwise use this app beyond the scope permitted by these terms.
Lockeep app itself and its code, UI, icons, text, and related design intellectual property belong to the developer or relevant rights holders. Diary content, photo attachments, and original personal record content you create in the app belong to you—feedback, suggestions, or issue descriptions you actively submit to us may be reasonably used within the scope of product improvement, issue fixing, and support process optimization, provided they do not contain personal content you explicitly reserve rights to.
5. User Content & Local Storage Principles
Diary text, photo attachments, editing results, voice transcription results, AI processing results, and related local structural information you create or import in the app are controlled and managed by you. Except as otherwise explained in these terms, Privacy Policy, or applicable law, we do not claim ownership of your diary content itself.
Lockeep uses local storage and on-device processing by default—the current app itself does not provide account systems, cloud sync on our side, or cloud AI inference. Most of your core content is saved only on your device by default. You understand and agree: because the product is positioned as local-first, you should decide whether to enable system backup, whether to export content, and whether to complete your desired backup operations before changing devices.
6. Trial Period, Free vs. Membership Boundaries
The current version may provide trial periods, free capabilities, and membership capabilities. Specific open scope, duration, trigger conditions, and display methods are subject to actual explanations on the in-app page, App Store page, or purchase flow.
If the current version provides an in-app trial period, it is typically used to let you try membership capabilities within a limited scope. After the trial period ends, diary recording and original content viewing capabilities are usually retained; voice transcription, AI processing, Reunion review, advanced review, and other intelligent enhancement capabilities may switch to membership-exclusive or restore to free-tier availability per product design.
7. Subscription, Renewal, Cancellation & Restoration
Lockeep currently provides auto-renewing membership subscriptions. Subscription price, billing cycle, available regions, and purchasable plans are subject to actual display on the App Store and in-app purchase pages.
- Subscription purchase, deduction, renewal, refund, invoice, tax processing, and billing management are handled by Apple through your Apple account.
- Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current billing cycle or trial period ends, subscription usually auto-renews; renewal amount is deducted by Apple before the next billing cycle begins.
- You can change plans or cancel auto-renewal via iPhone system subscription management or the in-app 'Manage Subscription' entry.
- If you need to restore purchased membership benefits, use 'Restore Purchases' in the app; successful restoration depends on the Apple account logged into the current device, Apple purchase records, and subscription status returned by Apple.
- Refunds, billing disputes, and payment method issues are usually handled through Apple's subscription management or refund channels.
8. Apple Terms & Third-Party Rules
In addition to these terms, your download, installation, purchase, and use of this app are also governed by Apple Media Services Terms, App Store Rules, Apple Standard EULA, and Apple's applicable rules for auto-renewing subscriptions. If these terms conflict with Apple's mandatory rules, Apple's applicable rules and mandatory legal provisions prevail.
9. Third-Party Open Source Content & Model Licenses
Lockeep's on-device AI capabilities and some basic functions use third-party open source models, runtime components, and Swift packages, including but not limited to Qwen3.5-2B, MLX Swift, MLX Swift LM, swift-transformers, swift-jinja, Swift Collections, Swift Crypto, and yyjson. Copyright of these third-party contents belongs to their respective rights holders and is provided under their respective licenses.
If Lockeep distributes Qwen3.5-2B or its quantized conversion results with the app or hosted resource packages, we retain necessary copyright, license, and NOTICE information per applicable licenses. You can view current public third-party license explanations on the Third-Party Licenses page.
10. Service Availability, Changes & Interruptions
We will make reasonable efforts to maintain product availability, but do not promise the service is always uninterrupted, completely error-free, or maintains exactly the same feature scope at all times, on all devices, all system versions, all network environments, or all local model configurations.
For reasons including security, stability, performance, legal compliance, review requirements, product iteration, or third-party platform policy changes, we may adjust features, subscription plans, display text, membership boundaries, model access methods, or support processes. If significant changes that may substantially affect your rights occur, we will try to remind you through in-app explanations, site updates, or other reasonable means.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Lockeep does not assume liability beyond the statutory scope for indirect losses, loss of expected profits, loss of goodwill, or extra data recovery costs caused by device failure, system limitations, storage damage, Apple billing processing, system backup behavior, network abnormalities, third-party platform rule changes, your own misoperation, or your active export or sharing of content.
This article does not affect consumer rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, nor does it affect liability we shall bear according to law for intentional or gross negligence.
12. Terms Updates
If product capabilities, trial period arrangements, subscription plans, applicable regulations, or platform rules change, we have the right to update these terms and will mark the latest update date on this page. Your continued use of this app after updates constitutes acceptance of the updated terms—if you do not agree to the updates, you should stop using the relevant services.
13. Applicable Law & Dispute Resolution
Subject to applicable mandatory consumer protection laws that do not conflict, these terms apply to the laws of the People's Republic of China. For disputes arising from these terms or app use, both parties should first try to negotiate in good faith; if negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit with the competent people's court at the operator's location.
14. Service Termination
You can stop using and uninstall this app at any time. Uninstalling the app itself does not automatically cancel your membership subscription—if you do not want to continue renewing, you must still manually cancel in the system subscription management per Article 7 of these terms and Apple subscription rules.
Without system backup or if you have not actively exported, data stored locally is usually deleted by the system when you uninstall and cannot be recovered by us. If you seriously violate these terms or applicable law, we may limit your access to relevant features or support services as needed.
15. Contact Information
For questions about these terms, membership subscriptions, trial periods, restore purchases, feature boundaries, or support handling, please contact us through Support. The support page displays current valid contact methods and handling explanations.
