Entity
1. Scope
This policy applies to information processing activities that occur when you use Lockeep on iPhone, including local app recording, photo attachments, voice transcription, AI processing, Reunion review, subscription status reading, error reporting, and support communication.
2. Operator & Contact
Lockeep is developed and operated by Cai Gege. You can contact us through the support email listed on this page to ask privacy questions, request support assistance, or make requests related to your personal information to the extent permitted by applicable law.
3. What Information We Process
- Diary text, dates, editing results, and related local structural information that you actively write.
- Photo attachments you actively import, along with their sorting, preview, and associations within the app.
- Audio session temporary data, transcription text, and related editing content generated after you initiate voice input.
- AI processing results, reunion cards, and local cache generated on-device when the model is available.
- Locally stored reminder preferences, notification authorization status, app lock status, membership status, and trial status.
- Local model directories and related model files you actively import into the app.
- Email content, contact email, screenshots, device descriptions, and diagnostic files you submit when actively contacting support, reporting issues, suggesting features, or exporting diagnostic information.
4. Legal Basis
- We process information necessary to provide core functions such as diary recording, search, photo management, Reunion review, and membership access control.
- For permissions such as microphone, speech recognition, and notifications, as well as operations like sending feedback, screenshots, or diagnostic files, we process it based on your active choice and explicit authorization.
- For reading subscription status, refreshing purchase results, and handling disputes, and preservation or disclosure required by law, we process relevant information as needed to fulfill contracts, meet legal obligations, or protect legitimate rights.
5. How Information is Stored
Lockeep uses local storage and on-device processing by default. Your diary text, photo attachments, editing results, voice transcription, AI processing results, Reunion cache, notification preferences, and most usage data are saved only on your device by default, supporting recording, review, reminders, and membership access control.
Subscription rights are managed by Apple's StoreKit system. We read necessary subscription status on your device to determine if you can access membership features, but we do not handle your payment card information.
Lockeep does not automatically upload your diary content, photo attachments, voice transcription results, AI processing results, or diagnostic information to our servers or third-party platforms. Only when you actively send feedback, screenshots, or diagnostic files through system mail or system sharing features will copies leave your device according to your action, received by your chosen email service or sharing target.
The current app does not offer cloud sync or cloud AI inference. Your diary content, voice transcription results, and AI processing results will not be used for online training or model improvement. If you enable Apple device backup or iCloud backup, app data may be included in your Apple account backup according to Apple's backup strategy—this is handled by Apple and is not a Lockeep cloud storage service.
6. Purpose of Information Use
- Provide diary writing, photo management, voice transcription, AI processing, search, reunion, and review features.
- Determine membership access, trial status, purchase results, and restore purchase results.
- Schedule local reminders when you enable Reunion reminders.
- Processing and review calculations are done on-device when the model is available.
- Handle support requests, troubleshooting, and product suggestions you submit.
7. Third-Party Services
Lockeep doesn't integrate third-party ad SDKs, nor does it share your diary content for advertising, user profiling, or behavioral analysis. For app distribution, subscription purchase, renewal, refund, invoice, subscription management, and possible system backup, related processing is handled by Apple and governed by Apple's own privacy policy. If you actively use email or system sharing to send support materials, related content will also be governed by the privacy policies of the corresponding email service or sharing target.
8. Data Sharing & Disclosure
Except as required by laws and regulations, to fulfill legal obligations, or with your explicit authorization, we will not sell, share, or upload your personal content to unrelated third parties. Lockeep takes local privacy storage and non-automatic network transmission as long-term principles—if major product boundary changes occur in the future, we will update this policy and notify you clearly.
9. Data Retention & Deletion
Most content you create in the app is retained on your device by default until you actively edit, delete, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Photo attachments, local model files, Reunion cache, and related local preferences you import are typically retained or deleted along with app data.
If you actively send emails, screenshots, diagnostic files, or other support materials to us, we may retain these materials for a reasonable period necessary to handle issues, respond to you, fulfill legal obligations, handle disputes, or improve support processes—we will delete or stop retaining them within a reasonable scope when no longer needed.
10. Your Rights & Choices
- You can edit and delete your diary content on your device at any time.
- You can choose whether to grant microphone, speech recognition, and notification permissions, and can withdraw authorization anytime in Settings.
- If you enable App Lock, unlocking depends on Face ID or device passcode verification provided by the system—we don't access or store your raw biometric data.
- You can cancel auto-renewal through Apple.
- You can choose whether to send emails, screenshots, diagnostic information, or other support materials to us.
- To the extent permitted by applicable law, you can also request access to, correction of, or deletion of support materials you've submitted to us, or withdraw previously granted authorization.
- For support assistance, deletion of sent support materials, questions about data processing, or exercising your rights under applicable law, contact us using the email on the support page.
11. Security Measures
We strive to reduce privacy risks through local storage, system permission controls, app lock, and minimized data transmission. For network communications you actively initiate and that are processed by the system, we rely on security capabilities provided by the system and service providers for transmission protection. However, no device, operating system, email transmission, or network environment can guarantee absolute security—before sending materials via email or other channels, make sure they don't contain private content you're unwilling to share.
12. Minors
This app is not primarily targeted at children. If applicable law requires minors to use relevant services with guardian consent, please use this app and subscription features under guardian guidance. If guardians believe minors have submitted support materials to us without proper authorization, they can contact us through the contact information listed on this page.
13. Policy Updates
When product capabilities, data processing methods, or applicable regulations change significantly, we will update this page and sync the 'Last Updated' date. For important changes that may substantially affect your rights and obligations, we will try to remind you through in-app explanations, site updates, or other reasonable means.
